A free event aimed at social enterprises or aspiring social entrepreneurs in Somerset.
Transform Ageing’s Jam Session for Social Entrepreneurs will be held on Thursday, 14th September 2017 – 9:30 am – 3 pm at YMCA Bridgwater, Friarn Avenue, Bridgwater, Somerset. TA6 3RF
“Musicians are renowned for being creative and often come together in Jam Sessions to create new music together. Taking inspiration from musician’s jamming we want to get social entrepreneurs together to create innovative ideas, collaborate and help each other.”
Facilitated by Sam Alford and Tim Lages, be prepared to bring your business models, or any ideas you have, to our session, write these down, pitch, and then get contributions from others in the room.
This will be supported by useful tools for reviewing your proposition, pitching – and we’ll even introduce ‘the theory of change’.
This is an entire day designed for all those interested in Transform Ageing. You may already be a social entrepreneur or someone with ideas about how to make a difference to the experience of later life who might become one!
The session is suitable for both social entrepreneurs and the future social entrepreneur. We hope it will carve out some thinking space for you to explore the change you wish to see, why it is important to you, and how your solution can have a lasting impact.
You are welcome to bring along a member of your team as it is an opportunity to step out of your Social Enterprise for a day and critically examine your goals in the company of others who are on a similar journey.
